All individuals subject to this policy will be referred to as “users.”

III. Data Collection and Usage
A. Data We Collect
OyahGo collects data provided by users, data created while using our services, and data from external sources. Below is a breakdown of the data we collect and how we use it:
1. Data Provided by Users
This includes:
- Account Information: Data collected when users create or update their OyahGo accounts, such as first and last names, email addresses, phone numbers, login credentials, payment information, profile pictures, and user preferences.
- Driver and Delivery Personnel Information: This includes details like vehicle information, insurance data, emergency contact details, and proof of fitness for providing services using OyahGo’s platform.
- Identity Verification Documents: Includes government-issued identification such as a driver’s license or passport, which may include personal details such as identification numbers, birthdate, and gender. User-submitted photos, like selfies or profile pictures, may also be collected.
- Background Check Information (for drivers and delivery personnel): Includes data such as driving history, criminal background checks (where legally permissible), license status, previous addresses, and right-to-work status. This data is often gathered by OyahGo’s service providers.
- Demographic Data: Information such as age, gender, and occupation may be collected when necessary to offer specific services, enable certain features, or for marketing and advertising purposes.
- User-Generated Content: We collect information like chat logs and recorded calls when users interact with OyahGo’s customer support or submit ratings, feedback, or other content on the platform.
- Travel Information: For users of OyahGo’s travel services, we may collect travel itinerary data such as flight schedules, hotel reservations, and car rental details when provided by the user.
2. Data Created During Use of Our Services
We collect the following data during the use of our services:
- Location Data (Drivers and Delivery Personnel): We collect precise and approximate location data from drivers’ and delivery personnel’s devices when the OyahGo app is active, whether it’s in the foreground (app open and visible) or the background (app open but not on-screen).
- Location Data (Passengers and Delivery Recipients): We collect location data from passengers’ and delivery recipients’ devices if they allow it via their device settings. OyahGo collects this data from the time a ride or delivery is requested until it is completed, and any time the app is running in the foreground. See the section “Choice and Transparency” for how to manage these settings.
Passengers and recipients can use OyahGo’s services without enabling location data collection; however, certain features may not function as intended. For example, users will need to manually input their pickup location if precise location data isn’t enabled. Additionally, location data collected from a driver’s device during a trip may be linked to the passenger’s account, even if the passenger has not enabled precise location tracking on their own device. This data is used for customer support, fraud detection, insurance, legal purposes, and generating receipts.
- Transaction Information: We collect transaction-related information when using our services. This includes service type, trip or delivery details (such as pickup/drop-off addresses, distance, and items ordered), and payment data (such as merchant name, amount, and payment method). We may also associate your name with others who use your promotional codes.
- Usage Data: We collect data about how users interact with our app and services, including access times, features or pages viewed, app crashes, browser types, and system activity.
- Device Data: We gather information about the devices used to access OyahGo services. This includes device models, IP addresses, operating systems, languages, mobile network data, and device motion information.
- Communication Data: We collect data on communications between users facilitated by the OyahGo app, including the type (phone, text, in-app message), date/time, and, in some cases, content (such as call recordings when users are notified beforehand).
